I had installed Money Sunset but have since uninstalled it. Hi Steve for Money 2005, there is no activation, so don't worry about that. Quicken 2008 does not provide for investment a/c QIF imports.

Unfortunately the separate download converter will not install so I cannot import historic investment data. Keep in mind, I had installed and it was working fine until about 5 months ago, it started requiring me to put the disc in to run. Also, I've been trying out Quicken 2008 (US version). I am trying to re-install Money 99 Financial Suite onto a Win 7 Pro, 64 bit. However, it eventually says Non-responding and nothing gets installed. When I click cancel, the install seems to continue as it asks for my name and tells me to write down the registry number. If I click on Check for solutions online, I get no solutions found. In Windows 10, after trying the registry fix, it may still be necessary to link qfx files to Microsoft Money Import Handler by going to Settings > Control. I use Mint that's not really practicable/not nearly as good (in my viewpoint) as actual software. I've tried Quicken but don't really like the way the software looks/works, but at least it automatically downloads from my banks (though I had some issues with it working automatically).

Every since then, I go in once/month and download from my various banking/credit card/brokerage websites and import into MS Money Plus ('Plus' is the same as the old MS Money, but at some point a few years ago I had to use it instead of Money 2000, which was the latest version I had, and had worked for many, many years). What drives me crazy Quicken cannot set up a leased vehicle. Several/many years ago it stopped downloading transactions. Easy to use, automatic downloading from all my accounts (whether checking, savings or brokerage), etc.
